Freshened up the classic tracks and skate lane after 3” of additional snow last night. Road conditions are much improved after DOT’s efforts. Start the new year with some trail time at Archangel!

The snow rolled in and the cold followed with attitude! At -20 and dropping, we let the equipment sit this one out to avoid any unforeseen issues that only these cold temperature can provide. With that said, trails are looking great with minimal traffic..just don’t forge...

Used the snow cat to make two passes with track on everything put in a nice diagonal across the field.

Started packing all the new powder. more work needed. Our old machine did not like the -25F. I did leave 1 PB width groom. We need temps to warm up before we continue to groom IM.

5k groomed last night. Soft, nice classic conditions even without any tracks set.

Cold temperatures and very little traffic. No new grooming.  Dress warm and enjoy

Two passes with track on everything except Coaches and Executioner. Imagine it's going to be pretty soft. It snowed the whole time. I suspect the outboard pole plants on the track are going to be pretty funky too.

All singletrack trails machine packed. Can't pull a groomer because of the snow over ice. Try again tomorrow.

Trails off of Sun Valley are not necessarily groomed. But have been packed down and smoothed some. Ruts and rocks are still a problem. 

TWC trails groomed Friday night 1/2/26

Glen Alps received .5 an inch to an inch of new snow. Groomed from Glen Alps parking lot up Poweline Trail to the Ptarmigan Pass intersection. Trail is in fantastic condition and wide enough to skate.
