Groomed all trails. Classic tracks set. Groome went well and looks prime for skiing. Temp 29F at the time of grooming last night at 11 pm. Approximately 3-6 inches depending on drifting. Have fun!

After our last snowfall our volunteers have been out in force and their work has paid off!  The trails are in great condition for both skate skiing and classic, with tracks set on multiple trails.

Temps dropped and we were able to groom the SML, Stadium, Elliot's/WC, Dark Alley, Roller Coaster and the first half of the Mize.  Be cautious of icy conditions and Enjoy!

Once again most the trails survived the rains. The fields, top of fox, lynx, and coyote will not be groomed until we get snow. But what we have groomed the skiing is pretty good. Be safe , watch for icy spots, and smile we are still skiing. 

25 mile trails got a couple inches of snow by Monday morning 1/20 and were regroomed this afternoon.  Good coverage closer to the trailhead and a bit brushier as you get towards the confluence.  Due to low coverage the groomers haven't made it around the whole outer ...

We recommend staying off the trails for the time being. This rain is turning what's left of our base to ice and we won't be able to groom until things cool down. If you do venture out, you might want to leave the skis at home and opt for microspikes.

Bill cleared the trees and larger debris off the trails but there are still plenty of twigs and sticks. If you're looking for a fun mission that would have great impact, take a rake and work some of that stuff way off the trails before the next weather system moves in. If it's...

Scratched up the trails and the Stadium...a little hard but was able to grind it up a bit so it's edgeable. Decent skiing. Enjoy! 

Scuffed up the trails on both sides. The field at ERHS and a few hills on Yosemite have exposed grass. It's edgeable and ok-ish skiing. Have a great day!

Downed trees have been removed from most wide trails. Please help to clear remaining small debris by tossing it off the trail!

 Lazy/Knik trails are closed to Mat-Su Ski Club grooming until further notice.

Cleaned up the 5k, should skate well. Tracks were left alone, still look ok.
