Bill took the snowcat out this morning to see if anything could be done. After making one pass, he realized he was going to turn up too much dirt. The base is roughly two inches thick and less in some areas where the trail isn't flat. To achieve an edgeable surface, he needed to till at least one inch. It looks good in some places but really bad in others. There just isn't enough for consistency. He tried, but says we've got to have more snow.
