Scratched up the trails and the Stadium with the snowmachine. Still pretty hard but edgeable. There is a tree down on Tryons Maxim and we'll be back later to remove it. Watch out for ice and sticks.

Made three passes on most of the park with a snowmobile. The Christy and the CHS Stadium are not skiable. Most everything on the Chalet side will be marginally edgeable. Watch out for sticks, ice and a few dirt spots. There is no track anywhere in the park. Have a good one!

Trails are in excellent condition. Use caution on Sundog march - overflow. Season pass or day pass is required.

Ground up the core trails. No tracks set yet. Note that there are a couple of open/wet patches on the "Greenbelt Railway" section. As well the first km north of Corkstown was not groomed as it was getting late, and the groomer was running low on fuel...

Ginzu groomed skate lanes on all trails from FVTH to 17 k.  The track was difficult to improve upon so it was left on most trails.  A few new tracks set with mixed results.  

Trail conditions on trail 101 are fair, trails 103 and 104 are "early season good". No tracks set, the base is thin and hard, but the surface groomed well. No grooming to the parking area , but don't let that fool you, ski season is here!

Skate lanes on Purple and Yellow were refreshed. Be aware of some thin spots by the bridge and culvert.  Please remember to purchase your trail pass. Have fun out there!

12/12/24It is an exciting morning. It started snowing in earnest around 6 a.m. By  7 a.m., Reba's Meadow Cafe deck had already received 2 inches of new snow, and it looks like plenty more is on the way!

About 6 inches of fresh snow and still falling here at Forbush. We are going to delay opening till 10 this morning to give everyone more snow clearing time. The fresh snow should make for a great weekend of skiing and for the Forbush Time Trial on Sunday.

Durrance has been groomed as well as the South Harriman from SNRA to Frostbite trailhead. Lots of owls out on Durrance this morning. 

A few inches of snow really helped to cover up a lot of pinecones and debris and smooth everything out. It is still accumulating on some of the trails that were groomed earlier.
