The Van Norden trailhead is OPEN! 

Due to the large volume of water actively flowing, we are unable to open Lincoln Highway, the usual Snoops, or Bill Patterson. What we have done is groomed from the trail head to the old West End Hut and into the open meadow. From there, the trail forks: Right crosses the meadow to Summit Connection, Left is a single trail to Merrell Family Hut. We also groomed a large loop in the field East of Merrell Hut. The Nordic Pulse grooming map is updated and while not perfect, does reflect what is open in the meadow quite well. 

The meadow is a contantly changing environment this year, and we will continue to assess and keep trails open as long as we can. Check back each day as the warm weather next week could impact these trails significantly. 

Busy weekend Ahead!

On Friday, we have our first ever Friday Night Lights event. From 6-8pm, come race the 1km track under lantern-light. Each week is a different format and distance. And this Friday is free! The pub is open for drinks and food - all ages welcome.

On Sunday we have the Far West Tour de Royale. We've got a classic touring category and a skate category - both on some amazing trails that get your WAY out into our trail system. Check it out and participate - raise some funds for our Far West region junior racers!

And the bar will be open Fri and Sat normal hours of 3-9pm. We will also open on Sunday at 1pm for the NFL Playoff games and bloody mary specials!
