Rinse and repeat x3. 53km, mostly cloudy, 38 degrees.

The Bogus Basin trails are skiing excellent (they don't see any sun at all due to their Northern aspect) and I encourage skiers to head in that direction. Bogus Basin, Claim Jumper, Switchback all have a lot of snow and amazing conditions.

Brinton's Beat remains closed due to the prescribed burn.

Van Norden Update: We can no longer groom in the meadow due to running water. The trails should soften enough to ski in the late morning/afternoons and passholders are welcome to snowshoe and/or ski with their dogs on the remaining trails as conditions permit. We will have staff at the trailhead today.

Van Norden Update: We are rapidly losing the ability to keep trails at VN open and groomed. Please pay attention each day as closures could happen on short notice due to conditions and safety concerns.

The meadow is a constantly changing environment this year, and we will continue to assess and keep trails open as long as we can.

Busy weekend Ahead!

On Friday, we have our second ever Friday Night Lights event. From 6-8pm, come race the 1km track under lantern-light. Each week is a different format and distance. This week is a 4km classic race. The pub is open for drinks and food - all ages welcome.

URGENT - Jan 22, 2026

Village Hill, Brinton's Beat, International, and Summit Crossing are closed until further notice.

Prescribed burning is taking place today that will result in trail closures likely through the weekend. Nordic Pulse grooming map has been updated to reflect this. For the safety of all parties involved, please stay off of the closed trails until further notice.
