Ski Vermont, the Vermont Ski Areas Association, is a not-for-profit trade association that has represented the state’s ski areas since 1969. Our members include most of Vermont's cross-country ski centers, from Dashney Nordic Center and Kingdom Trails in the Northeast Kingdom to Rikert Outdoor Center in Ripton and the von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, along with 21 alpine ski areas. We promote Vermont’s nordic trails alongside its downhill terrain and help skiers find a center that fits the day, whether that means a classic tour through the woods or a fast skate loop. Skiing is one of Vermont’s official state winter sports, and our nordic centers welcome everyone from first-timers on rental gear to racers training for the season.
