Howdy and Happy Tuesday fellow snow-stars! Just when we thought that winter had tucked its tail and retreated, surprise!! The Snow Spirits have heard our calls and delivered a renewed sense of wonder in the prettiest shape around, snowflakes! With snow showers and cooler temps on the menu for today, we’re starting off at 32°F and a high of 36°F, keeping things on the cooler side. Overnight air temperatures stayed below freezing, providing a snow temp of 25°F/-4°C and a snow surface is saturated and punchy corduroy atop a firm yet forgiving base. Most of the snow fell before the groom, gifting us well-defined tracks and cord! With only a slight increase in temperature on the docket, the surface is slated to holdout for most of the day, prolonging that delectable glide we all crave. Team Groom has reset skate corduroy and classic tracks on the Uppers (Green: beginner) and many of the Middles (Blue: intermediate) sans Rich’s Range; and Easy Back is a shorter loop through the PPP cut-through. Woody’s is a shorter loop with a cut-through to Easy Back near junction 12. Please note: the Lowers (Black: advanced) need a substantial refresh of snow to reopen. There are still thinning conditions out there, so please be aware of low snow and exposed terrain. The snowshoe trails still need a bit more snow to reopen, and we’ll be assessing them daily. With snowflake-y fun on the menu throughout the day, we’ll be serving up some deliciously hearty burritos and warm après soup alongside our cozy fireplace! Head on up and frolic in the flaky goodness with us as we close this month out with an absolute bang!

This is shaping up to be a jam-packed weekend of fun and festivities! Sunday is easter! We are certainly celebrating the holiday with a family-friendly Easter egg hunt on the ski trails. Colorful eggs with tasty treats will be hidden all over The Upper Trails (green/ beginner trails). Plus, 50 YETI mugs will be hidden around the trails as well! Limit one YETI mug per person.
