Another day of packed powder and 100% of our trails open. The temps are getting a bit warmer than we would prefer, but skiing in a light layer is a nice treat, too. Conditions are fantastic out there, though we encourage you to review the trail list for a couple notes on trails that have a thinner base. Fox Track had a short section closed for snowmaking yesterday, but the team should have flattened out Mount Fox Track by now. You can see the live grooming status on the map and trail list here as we roll through the morning..

We expect this to be a very busy weekend, given that it is a holiday, the snow has been great, and the lodge is full. There are plenty of kilometers of trails so it should never feel crowded when you're on skis, but the parking lot will be crowded. Please park close to your neighbor and keep the parking in tidy columns and rows and all will work just fine. The overflow parking area just past the main lot will be open and we ask that you keep the rows orderly when you pull in and not let anarchy reign.

We are in a holiday weekend and want to remind those with season passes to other Nordic areas that there is a blackout period Saturday, Sunday, and Monday where your complimentary reciprocal day may not be redeemed. We hope to still see many of you this weekend and there are a lot of days ahead to use your complimentary day.

The Cabin is open 10AM - 330PM today to serve you soups, baked goods, hot drinks, and a warm fire. Hold on to your tuques because Cabin Phil had a vision from Maria von Trapp last night to help him plan his menu of Trapp Bier Bratwurst Stew, Vegeterian Black Bean Chili, and a Butternut Squash Soup. Soups are always subject to change and are always subject to being delicious. Please only venture to the cabin if you are confident skiing down lots of vertical. Reminder that the Cabin is cash only.
