If you haven't been out to the top of the Russell Knoll Bypass, you should venture out for a beautiful view of the mountains, as well as a very fun decent down!

We received 1" of snow overnight that our trail crew is grooming up this morning with the PB. Conditions are a spectacular packed powder. High around 25 degrees today, making it a blue kick wax day for waxable skis. Partly cloudy today, but the sun is trying to show itself. Another excellent day of skiing and snowshoeing awaits!

The Cabin is open 10AM-3:30PM serving Phil's delicious scratch made soups! Today's soups include: Cheddar Lager, Pork/Corn and Red Bean Chili, Dutch Potato Soup, and a most valuable soup to be named at the Cabin. Ski or snowshoe up to find out! All we know down here is that it's delicious! Cash only at the Cabin!

The von Trapp Race to the Cabin is coming up soon and there is still space to register. Come enter this festive, low-key event; some may race, and others may tour. Just come out and ski at your own pace to the famous Slayton Pasture Cabin and enjoy a hot chocolate or hot cider! We will shuttle any warm layers up for you to enjoy the descent.

Only one hill and well worth the effort. Register here.
