Montpelier's Parks are groomed for Winter use by Parks staff and volunteers. These trails are shared by skiers, walkers, and in some places fat bikers.

Where to Park:

Anywhere inside Hubbard Park

At the Pool on Elm St. to access the North Branch Park

At the North Branch Nature Center

Guidelines for Use:

Walkers are welcome on these trails. Please use snow-shoes if your feet are sinking more than 1" into soft snow as that really helps us keep the trails in good shape for everyone.

Dogs are welcome on these trails and may be off-leash in the northern area of Hubbard Park if owners follow the Hubbard Park Canine Code of Conduct. See signs on-site for more details.

Fat Bikes are welcome on all the trails in the North Branch Park and on the main wide trails in Hubbard Park.
