With the wind past and some fresh snow from earlier in the week, the USFS crew was out on the Hyalite trails Thursday.  This time we groomed everything and even set some classic tracks!  Given the recent warm weather, the snow will be a bit variable, especially on the sunny east side of the drainage.  While everything over there is skiable, watch for thin spots and expect changing snow conditions.  Best bet for good skiing will be the Blackmore Loops, West Shore Trail, and sleeping Giant.  Those are largely in the shade and the snow is staying cold.

Happy Holidays!
