Alturas Lake Trails
All trails are groomed for skating and many trails with classic tracks. Expect very good skiing through the weekend. The Nordic Pulse mapping program has glitches that shows sections of some trails not groomed- BCRD is working on it. Know that if we've been out most trails are groomed skate and classic, especially if we are between new snow storms.
Please no walking on the ski trails.
The Sawtooth Ski Club snowmobile grooms multiple days each week at Park Creek and Alturas for skate and classic Nordic skiing. Be prepared for variable snow conditions and a more old fashioned, home-grown skiing experience on beautiful trails. The weather can be wilder in the Sawtooth Valley.
