Fall Creek Experienced major road damage this spring due to flooding that makes it inaccesible this year.

Fall Creek is a forest service road in the San Juan National Forest and is groomed by the Pagosa Nordic Club for skate and classic skiing with the permission of the US Forest Service, Pagosa Ranger District. Starting at an elevation of approximately 9550 ft. about 3.5 miles of road are groomed to a top elevation of 10450 ft. This is advanced intermediate, to difficult terrain due to the high elevation and 1,000 ft of vertical gain.

The Pagosa Nordic Club of Pagosa Springs, Colorado is a 501(c)(3) non profit, 100% volunteer organization with a mission “To enhance winter recreational opportunities in Pagosa Springs by maintaining accessible groomed winter trails for skate skiing & classic cross country skiing for all ability levels and to encourage and promote the use of these winter trails through education, marketing and events."
