Coyote Hill is rolling hill terrain within the San Juan National Forest and is groomed by the Pagosa Nordic Club For skate and classic skiing with the permission of the US Forest Service, Pagosa Ranger District. Trails are primarily of intermediate level with a couple difficult areas as marked.
Dogs are allowed, as are snowshoes. We ask that snowshoers keep to the far opposite side from any set track and that groups walk in single file. Walking without snowshoes is not allowed.
The Pagosa Nordic Club of Pagosa Springs, Colorado is a 501(c)(3) non profit, 100% volunteer organization with a mission “To enhance winter recreational opportunities in Pagosa Springs by maintaining accessible groomed winter trails for skate skiing & classic cross country skiing for all ability levels and to encourage and promote the use of these winter trails through education, marketing and events."
