Skate track renovated from end to end today.. it's good west of Green's Creek, icy Green's to Radisson, and a mix east of Radisson.  Treed areas tend to be better than open areas.  Too hard to set classic today, we're still waiting for the snow!!!

The equestrian site has been groomed except t 100.  Considering minimal snow, it is quite skiable in many areas. There are some grassy spots to avoid. Programs will be proceeding today.

Morning shift complete.  Green is what got done. Classic tracks in all sectors except for Mt.Lebreton.  

Compressed the snow we got to capture as much as we could before the wind picks up.  The snow is light but should stick to the icy base when temperatures drop.  We don't have quite enough for tracks but we're getting closer

The expected snow was rain at Mooney's Bay yesterday.Followed by a flash freeze overnight resulting in bad conditions/unsafe conditions onsite.City of Ottawa ski classes for Sunday Jan.19th are cancelled.Mooney's Bay Ski Centre closed.No grooming.
