Yep, Mt Spokane skinny skiers, you should probably just drop what your doing and come skiing. It's ridiculous how nice this snow is right now. It groomed out beautifully, Tamarama is silky smooth... and uhh... not many of you noticed but Husky Dave opened up the Wall and Ridge run yesterday and hardly anybody touched it. It's the first time in more than a decade that we've had that run groomed all the way through, and he said it was beautiful.... so chop chop.... get after it. For the most part we have good snow coverage with a few runs like silver still being pretty sparse. If you're curious about the lower elevation marathon trails, one of our fearless volunteers is going to get out to Outer limits and send me a snow and gate report. With a little luck I can start grooming those lower elevations trails as well. Also be advised that we have multiple moose that apparently hate fresh corduroy,  as they like to stomp all over the freshly groomed stuff.  The audacity! But if you're hoping to see a moose, now's the time, they're all over J1 and J2, Tamarama, and eagle crest especially. Now, I have to be the good parks employee and advise that you enjoy them from afar; they're beautiful and cool and kinda jerks all wrapped in one. You certainly don't want to be in the receiving end of an angry moose so keep your distance and just enjoy the experience. So for the first time this year your Capt is suggesting you slam that morning cup of Joe, choke down your granola, grab those slippy sticks and hit the trails, I promise you won't be disappointed.
Cheers
