New dry snow over the past two days & nights.  Approx. 3" total accumulation but it feels like more. There has been signficant drifting, but the grooming will be evident today in way that it was not yesterday.  43 K groomed since yesterday.

Midday update: we are now flat groomed on Garipay and the old golf course, including a stadium area near the Garipay parking area. Still a few thin spots and some grass, but definitely skiable, flat groomed only, no tracks. Enjoy the sunshine!

Trails are groomed with roller and comb. Track-setter scheduled for Fri AM on select trails. Conditions are EXCELLENT!! Both parking lots along Jones Road are plowed.  

The trails are being groomed as I write this snow report. We received 3" of fluffy powder that now being groomed into the existing base. Tracks are being set where conditions allow and the comb is coming out nicely!

Temperatures range from mid teens to mid 20s depending on where you are on the trail system. Trails are coming out great although the tracks may be a little thin in spots. A soft layer of corduroy on top of a firm surface should make for some great conditions once again.

Thursday PM Update: we will keep the trails open on Friday, looks like more snow than rain. No grooming tomorrow but we will be back at it for the weekend. We are nearly 100% open and the skiing is excellent!

70km groomed this morning. This looks to be the last storm-free day until next weekend! Wet heavy snow this weekend, powdery snow next week, and a lot of it! 

Grooming is complete for tonight. I did the old highway, lower connector, overlook, Lakeview, the bowl, arts Meadows, and the lower Tyrolean trails. Things just keep getting better out there.   Should be great again tomorrow morning.

Trails are stunning this morning in the intense cold. The glisten of slight powder and icy snow mixing with sunlight followed me through the winding trails. Great conditions, if you dare brave this cold!

CJMS grooming is provided with generous support from Kenyon Noble and the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation. This trail is primarily for students and staff. Public use is welcome outside of normal 8am-4pm school hours. No dogs please!!

Frost heave has pushed up lots of gravel on wolf trail just before rabbit down trail so use bypass over to moose and ski backwards on moose to get back onto wolf. Enjoy the snow that we have and be safe. 

Refreshed skate lane Wednesday evening. I didn't think I could improve the classic track so I left it alone. Skating should be very fast and smooth!
