12/27/24Quick update from phone instead of laptop.  We received 10 inches of wet and heavy snow overnight. Morning groomers are reporting that the trails are coming out nice.  Osbourne Hut is open and groomed along ridge on either side....

Good morning!  The grooming went really well and the trails are looking clean with some fresh snow.  Temperatures have been ranging in the high 20’s - low 30’s and snowfall rates have diminished to just light flurries.

Some patchy/wet spots still out there but solid conditions

The tracks were superb this morning. 12" of wet and heavy fell last night, another great day to practice your classic technique! Weather prevented us from getting the full compliment of trails in, but we've got a full 45km for you with trails out of each trail head. 

Sourdough didn't appear to get the snow we got in town yesterday. Groomed the skate lanes to Moser and mystic. The tracks set on the 25th we're in good shape and left. From Wildhorse to Mystic Lake is then but fully covered.

Lots of fresh snow that groomed up great with the pisten bully this morning. New classic tracks set nearly everywhere on our trails. Skiing and fat biking is likely going to be on the softer side today but we're grateful for the new blanket of snow! ❄️

Less than an inch of new snow in the last 24 hours over a very firm, but thin base. Two passes with a Ginzu to help bond the new snow to the old hard pack and ice. Overall better than it should be with this little snow. Rock skis for sure.

Morning! A few inches over night has made for a great groom. There is a slight breeze and vision is diminished, especially in the frostbite flats and durance loop regions due to a light snow and flat light. Hope you enjoy!

Will be grooming our core trails again this morning and tomorrow morning. The trails will close after Saturday for what looks like a big rain event. It seems unlikely we will survive unless we get snow at the end, but we are going to keep the trails closed and try our best!

Snowmaking is underway! Conditions remain excellent on the trails. Flatlander is re routed by the 6 way bridge to make way for our growing pile!  Use caution in the woods, there are some thin spots!

The trails were a bit hard and only got a dusting of snow. Made multiple passes on the Stadium and three on the trails to bring some fines to the surface. Will probably have some icy spots but should still be fun. Enjoy!

Weekend plan is to groom the snowmaking loop only. Natural trails are thin and ice is possible. Sunday should still be ok on the snowmaking loop but Monday we will be closing due to the weather.
