Tuesday 21-January'25 9:15AM Temperature -13.3 C. 2 - 3 cm fresh dry snow overnite. What a difference that makes for grooming, tracksetting, and skiing!

Side X side tracks lower valley entered off bear to squirrel then wolf trail up hill to wolf lower trail entry.  These tracks damaged the trail requiring repairs to top of base.  Additional tracks off deer onto upper wolf but not too damaging.

All that snow over the last few days have allowed for unreal conditions. All trails are  groomed and trackset , 9/10. Big shout out to Terry and the gang , took over 4 hours to groom after this monster storm 

Good morning skiers, There will be no grooming today, however all tracks are still set and the entire trail system is open from yesterday's Loppet Event. We'll be back tomorrow to start refreshing all of the trails. Enjoy!

Jan 21, 0612am. Minus 7 and partly cloudy. The upper trails have had the skate lane refreshed with our ginzu, and the lower area trails have had a full regroom with the snowcat. The trail of the day is Porters' Glide.

Folks, The Quanset was broken into over the weekend so we made repairs and took inventory, unfortunately  it was broken into again last night removing a significant amount of things including the rescue sled, fuel, saws and tools. 

All trails at EVNC have been groomed this morning. Sun is out, trails are skiing well, warming hut is warm! 

Skate and classic tracks touched up or reset. 

Skate surface in the Woodlot has been touched up. 

Conditions are still looking good out there. Some thin patches are starting to show especially in the Discovery Canyon area, so use caution when you see dirt or grass poking through the snow. Hopefully there is some more of that coming soon! Reminder, trails will not be groome...

Skate lane have been scratched. Classic are in good conditions. Be aware of wind swept tracks on ridgeway trail by the gate. Be aware of birch tree seeds in some parts of the trails.  Fair amount of debris on coyote trail.

No grooming today to preserve low snow base. We will do a larger groom Wednesday to make up for the missed parts yesterday.  We need a snowfall of 5 to 10cm of snow really help our low snow situation. Forecast for the next 2 weeks is approx. 3 cm of snow.

Skate track renovated from end to end today.. it's good west of Green's Creek, icy Green's to Radisson, and a mix east of Radisson.  Treed areas tend to be better than open areas.  Too hard to set classic today, we're still waiting for the snow!!!

All trails groomed today! there was about 2cm fresh snow. Sun was out! -5 C at 8 am but warmed up to zero as the day progressed. Caution on Ravens loop as it is marginal in spots. Enjoy the outdoors! Perfect weather for a snowshoe outing.

Trails were groomed today with the snow cat, after a few recent snow storms. Conditions are great for skiing. 

All trails on the St.Paul golf course has been tracked and groomed today. Snow base and ski conditions are excellent due to recent snowfall. Jackrabbit trails at the Tin Cup Trail head have been completed. Skate skiing on the 7th fairway has also been groomed.

Trails- both the cross country ski and the fat bike- are beautiful right now! Dogs are always welcome.
