Good morning! Expect soft snow this morning, with no new trackset on the recreation loop. The groomers have picked up a few rocks but please still exercise caution.   

Mostly packing. Tried ginzu track setting on mainline and it worked well. Now we need some cooler temperatures.

In the past 24 hrs, approx 12-15 cm of new snow at WBC. The core has been roller packed and grooming will continue tomorrow. see the map for details of roller packing today. Enjoy, while it lasts.

Good Morning, Happy Last Day of Skiing! All trails except Chickadee, Nut Hatch, Phils Way, and Whiskey Jack Loop have been groomed and trackset yesterday afternoon. Mix of Sun and Clouds today, with temperature ranging from -2 as a low, to +6 as a high.

Current trail conditions:  lots of skiers out!  And I think I know why because the sun is brilliant, we still have snow and everyone is looking at the weather forecast.  Get it in now because it is likely gone next week. 

Well, all good things eventually come to an end... This season was amazing! Thanks to everyone who donated money to the BWT, the volunteers can keep bringing this incredible community-led multi-use trail system to you all.

Trails have been tracked and groomed on the front 9 only. A trail has also been set for the Jack rabbit skiers near the Tin Cup Restaurant. Trails are in fair to good conditions.

I started grooming but the track from Wednesday was still good and the new one was poor so I stopped. We put the grooming machine into storage so enjoy a last ski this weekend and a good summer.

Side X side tracks lower valley entered off bear to squirrel then wolf trail up hill to wolf lower trail entry.  These tracks damaged the trail requiring repairs to top of base.  Additional tracks off deer onto upper wolf but not too damaging.

We received 10 to 15 cms of new snow over the past weekend so all trails got groomed today. The thin and slightly icy spots are covered with the newly packed snow. Don't wait to get out as the sun will really start to affect it mining towards the end of the week and the skiing...

Crew was on the trails today packing the recent snow. No tracks set at this time as sticks and leaves were coming to the surface. Still need a little more snow in the treed areas.

As of February 28 2025, we will not be grooming until there is another significant snow fall.

The OWWT East/West from Moodie Drive west and north, to Rifle Road, including the Treatment Loop and the  Christmas Tree Loop, is fully renovated, groomed and trackset for classic and skate skiing as well as other winter activities. Enjoy!
