Hello all! Husky grooming again this morning, and the approx. 1.5 inches of snow we got overnight is grooming in Beautifully! The tracks are looking great. All but Papa Bear and the extended versions of Relentless and Tamarack are open and groomed and tracked. We will be holding two volunteer work days this week on Tuesday and Wednesday, noon to 3, focused on clearing tree damage on Papa Bear. Notice: Now that hunting season is officially over, we will be working on opening up the rest of the trails system. Due to the amount of wet snow and winds we had in this early season storm, we have a lot of downed and bent over trees blocking the trails. So, we are asking for volunteers to come out and help us clear those trails so they can be groomed. Starting tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be going out from the CHALET with hand tools, chainsaws, and polesaws, from 12 noon to 2:30 pm. We can ferry volunteers out, or you are welcome to ski! We will continue this every day until the rest of our trails are open. A heads up that you are able to come and help out at [email protected] is appreciated but not required!
