DNR groomed from Bird Valley Trailhead up the Bird Valley side approx. 3.2 miles then turned around and took a connector trail to the Penguin Valley side of the trail system back to the trailhead. Also attempted to groom Glen Alps but was too cold and dry to have much success. Groomed from Glen Alps Trailhead up Powerline to the intersection with Hidden Lake Trail, turned around and headed down Prospect Heights Trailhead via Powerline before taking Wolverine Trail to intersection with Basher Connector. Went back up Powerline to White Spruce to Gasline and down Silver Fern to Upper Huffman Trailhead then returned to Glen Alps. Whew, they were busy!
