Conditions are definitely improving! DNR made it out yesterday and groomed from Glen Alps trailhead to the Ptarmigan Pass intersection, approximately 3.5 miles down Powerline Pass Trail. The trail almost has total coverage, with only one or two rocks poking through.  An attempt was made to groom down toward Upper Huffman, but there still isn't quite enough coverage.
