April 4th:  Roads were suitable for snowcat hauling on Thursday and all trails were groomed and trackset, starting early Thursday morning with a brief pause during the warmest part of the day. Grooming continued Thursday evening wrapping up in the early hours of Friday morning. Up to 20cm's of new snow had accumulated prior to Thursdays grooming of the Mt.Shark system and temperatures reached into the negative double digits early Friday morning. 

The base is still decent on the Mt Shark trails, though there may be some exposed dirt and/or rocks in the usual spots, on a couple sharp corners, on Ursa Major and/or Hercules.  There is a possibility that grooming is now finished for the season at Mt Shark, as warmer temperatures again on the horizon will lead to prohibitive conditions for snowcat transportation.
