It’s shaping up to be another crisp blue bird day here on the mountain!

We’ve just finished grooming and setting tracks on our man-made loop (stadium, first loop, pond bridge return) and the corduroy is silky smooth — you don’t want to miss out on this snow. Although the Winter Solstice and Christmas snow storms covered everything in a blanket of snow, the coverage off of the man-made loop is thin. If you venture further into the woods expect a bit of grass and some water-bars on the downhills. It’s still early season folks! The Fields are still a movie, why not stay longer at the cinema?

Specific notes on recently opened trails: snow coverage is thin, and soft but still a blast. Craig’s Hill is great on the uphill, but we recommend skiers return via Sheehan to Myher’s Driveway. Skiing down Viola White is not recommended. It’s a bit of a rollercoaster. Please continue to ski Battel as an out and back or in reverse direction.

With warmer temperatures in the forecast, we hope you all hurry up here and enjoy the snow!
