Closing day and there is some sweet skiing out there!

Access to First and Second Loop via Pond Bridge – there is a little shimmer here and there on the way down but easy to hold an edge with any ski.  Use caution your first time down and be aware of two way traffic.

We’ve set a track up First Loop and across the Steam Mill Flats.  Second Loop with a Sheehan and Sugarhouse Drop return is flat groomed.

There are areas you might think it's mid-winter and others that look just like spring.  It might be the fountain of youth flowing down Brandy Brook – Mr. McKibben looks like a kid this morning!

We have some hot dogs and hamburgers and we will grill them until they are gone starting at 11am.

Bonus stadium loop groomed up nice for those who want to say they skied at the end of March without taking to the hills!

The 50th year seems to have gone just as fast as it came in November – we’ve been open 134 days – more than a third of the year!

The shop will be open until 4:30pm today to make sure we get the best chance to see everyone.

Ask about final day sales when you come in and try out our new Salomon 3/4 metal edge skis that you will see in rental next year.  We do have two pairs of rollerskis.. just saying!

Thank you from the staff of Rikert for a wonderful season we appreciate your support and enthusiasm for this place and cross country skiing!
