January 7th Grooming Report

Multimodal Grooming!

With a heavy practice schedule this afternoon and conditions still a little thin in the woods, the grooming agenda today included both the Husky and the Ginzu.  The fields are skiing nicely and the Husky did a fine job of laying in both skate lanes and classic tracks.  In the woods the Ginzu made multiple skate passes with fresh classic tracks being set on Armin’s as well.

Light to moderate snowfall has been happening all morning with totals approaching two inches since yesterday.  Thankfully winds are very light today.  Elk were spotted today in the Woolsey Woods region.

After today’s busy schedule things will lighten up for the rest of the week with mainly Juniors around on Friday as most Prep/Comp skiers will be competing away.

Groomer’s choice for today is to check out the first Husky grooming on Beaver Ponds.
