Thanks to all who joined us on the trails yesterday for Backyard ski day and for all our local business sponsors for supporting the event. It's always great to see members of our community share experiences together on the trails that they work so hard to support. Thank you!

The warm temps and rain yesterday have softened our trail platform significantly. The thin areas are suffering an we are doing our best to shovel snow where we can. 

The main trailhead loops in Mazama and out towards Jacks, Thompson and Little Wolf in Sun Mtn., the Rendezvous from Cub Creek TH, and in Winthrop from the Fish Hatchery TH have the best coverage. 

The best classic tracks on Winthrop trails are from the Fish Hatchery to just beyond Wolf Ridge on the Methow Community Trail. The MCT is skiing very well between the Fish Hatchery and to half way out to Browns Farm. Tracks are inconsistent between Browns Farm and Wolf Ridge.
