Today's pic was taken yesterday of the view as you start up the Russell Knoll Bypass.
Great ski day ahead with clear skies, temps staying in the mid-teens and a high of 16F. Bitter wind coming across the Stadium now, but looks like this may die down soon. It's going to be an interesting week ahead with the next two days staying cold and then three warmer days at the end of the week. We expect to weather the weather just fine, but every day will be different and we are ecstatic about what we have had to work with the last month. We added a dusting of snow last night and the groomers are out packing and tracking now and you can follow their progress by looking at the pulsing dots on the map and the updated trail list. We opened Morrison and all of Old County Road yesterday and those will be open again today, along with almost everything else. Please heed the closure signs on Hare Line, lower Haul Road, and Ayers Track, as those will be the last of the trails to get open this season. The upstairs retail area of the Outdoor Center is open 9AM to 5PM every day and the downstairs rental area is open 830AM to 5PM every day.

The Cabin is open for full service 10AM - 330PM and our cabinkeepers welcomed many of you for the first time this season this weekend. Cabin Phil is up there today serving New England Clam Chowder, Potato Veggie (Vegan), and a TBD third soup. Reminder that the Cabin is cash only.

Many skiers and snowshoers have asked about the two birds on the Telemark Trail. These were sponsored as memorials by two families and created by artist Tyler Vendituoli. We hope skiers enjoy some whimsical pops of color and creativity while grinding up or zipping down Telemark. Reach out to Outdoor Center Director David Rye ([email protected]) if you are ever interested in discussing memorial or commemorative benches, birds, or other ideas to honor loved ones in this special place.
