Mt. Van Hoevenberg is rolling into the week with another stretch of stellar winter conditions. All trails are open, and we are out this morning refreshing tracks and skate lanes as needed. Expect smooth, fast skiing across the venue and a quiet, cold morning that's ideal for getting in some quality kilometers before the day picks up. Activity around the stadiums and lodges will steadily increase as preparations ramp up for the Empire State Winter Games. A wide range of winter sports will be using the facilities, and races begin Friday and continue through the weekend. Certain trail systems will be designated for competition, and everything will be clearly marked and signed when the time comes so skiers can navigate easily.

A big thank-you goes out to everyone who joined us for our first Classic Saturday--it was a hit, especially with the double-track best-line classic setup on Porter. And to all who came out for the Full Moon Party, we're already excited for the next one. Enjoy the great skiing ahead this week, and we hope to see you out on the trails.
