Well...it is over. Last groom, for realz. If you have a notion to ski, do it tomorrow. The results were good tonight. There is corduroy🤣😂. Kept it wide so skaters don't get their tips hung up in the chum on the shoulders. For those of you who want to continue skiing for a few weeks, consider off trail. Today my wife and I skated from 10 till one-ish. We did a lap on the groomed, then decided to dabble off piste. It was rockin'. The snow was solid with a thin creamy top layer. Lip smackin' good! We were able to skate to top of Lakeview, meander to Overlook, then putz around till we got down to the meadow. A lot of up and down woop-dee-doos and going around some bare spots. Probably not everyone would get their jollies this way but we found it fun. Clean snow, few tracks, new scenery, and a bunch of laughs. Well, anyway I can't wait to go skiing tomorrow!
