A night below freezing, just in time for the U16 Championships! Three days of racing begins this afternoon with a 5k skate. Early skiers on Friday are kindly asked to ski 'gently' to preserve the best possible conditions for the young racers (e.g., avoid snowplowing, descending the High Road, etc.). Classic tracks in the 'canyon' portion of the North Loop (old War Zone) will not be used for today's races; they are available to passholders and for wax testing (Sat. classic races).

Trails will close for the afternoon races, but everyone is welcome for evening skiing under the lights.
