Grooming operations for the 2024-2025 season have officially ended at the golf course. While access to this public space remains open for winter recreation as always, know that these trails will no longer be groomed or maintained for this season. Please be cautious of variable conditions as we head into spring. You may direct questions to the Lake County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Director. For alternative trails, please consider CMC's student lab trails, the Timberline singletrack trails, the Mineral Belt Trail, and Tennessee Pass Nordic Center for your spring snow pursuits in Lake County. Thanks for a great season!
Dogs must be leashed at all times while on the Mt. Massive Nordic Trails per County ordinance.
NO walking, running, or fatbiking - these trails are groomed and curated for skiing and snowshoeing only. Fatbiking and walking can create dangerous post-holing hazards on this particular groomed surface that cannot support the impact of those activities. Nordic skiing and snowshoeing are the only activities allowed on the groomed surface at the golf course. There are plenty of other incredible opportunities across town for walking, running, and fatbiking!
