Howelsen Hill Nordic Update 2025:

Afternoon nordic community! We are excited to get this year kick started. As you all know, it has been a slow start with high temperatures and minimal snowfall. We were finally able to make some good production this week and the forecast for the weekend looks like snow is on the way to help us out.

Due to delays in temperature, our current priority is to finish the face of Howelsen prior to moving snowmaking equipment to chair base/rodeo. A good snow storm will allow us to start track packing trails out of the ski area,  however, snowmaking is neccessary for base area nordic longevity. We will continue to update you all as soon as we open trails/make progress. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work to get you on the trails as soon as we can!
