Monday Jan 20: A light dusting of new snow overnight and the cold snap continues. Yesterday we groomed Maroon Creek Loop 50 and Northstar. Last night we groomed Aspen Golf Loop 10, Moore Loop 20, High School Loop 30 and Marolt Loop 40. This morning we will groom Upper Rio Grande Trail from Stein Park to Aspen PO and Bernese Blvd. We are replacing a part on the snow cat in Snowmass and will not be grooming for a bit.  Wednesday the 22nd is race #4 in the Ute Cup Nordic Series at the Aspen Cross Country Center and the Owl Creek Chase, race #5 in the series takes place on Sunday the 26th from Snowmass to Aspen.
