Skate lanes were refreshed on Pooch Paradise, Hound Heaven, Wetzin'kwa, Broadway and logging roads. Trails are all fairly good with the odd rough spot due to low snow in places. It's good conditions but still early so ski accordingly.
Goodmorning everyone. YES! today is the day that you have been waiting for; opening day of some very good trails at BV Nordic Centre.
Our main earlyseason trails are in good shape and has been groomed in the last 24-48 hours. As you can see, this may not show on the "groomed trails" indicator, and this is because we just turned on the open signs for those trails on Nordic Pulse. Hound Heaven and Pooch Paradise are open on Pine Creek Trails.
Broadway, Valley View to L7, Upper Logging trail, Demo forest, Wetzin'kwa, One click right, The Way Home and Tunnel Connector are groomed and ready on the North Side (Lodge side)
We ask that you do not ski any other trails as they are just not ready yet. Daypass or season pass are now mandatory. Day Passes can be purchased at Lower Parking kiosk or at teh Main Lodge ticket kisok.
