April 18: Variable conditions are currently present with warmer temperatures softening trails throughout the day. Banff Trail is down to just the left side to make room for trucks to access the snow pile in preparation for next season. Please note, tracksetting has ended for the season due to snowpack depth but a re-groom of skate will continue as conditions allow. Overall conditions are marginal and it is recommended that intermediate-advanced skiers head out onto trail. There is a large bare patch on Banff Trail next to the Biathlon stadium, please use Lillehammer to get around this. There is an icy patch under the swiss bridge so please use extreme caution in this area.

As we near the end of the ski season, we are now down to one grooming staff member during weekdays and 2 grooming staff members on weekends. So long as the conditions allow, we will continue to refresh a skate lane. Grooming took place last night on Banff Trail to the Meadow and Banff Loop. Warm temperatures this week will lead to soft, slushy, spring-like conditions and ice patches/puddles. Please see below for a list of trails with marginal conditions/warnings. Happy skiing!

All trail conditions may change throughout the day with current weather patterns. Please use caution on any trail as conditions are marginal.

Please ski with caution under the bridges. There are icy hazardous conditions for skiers. With warmer temperatures during the day, the ice softens and water/slush puddles create under the bridges.
