Good Morning Mt Spokane. Got a lot groomed out and at the moment it's looking good, but we have some rain/snow mix happening and by mid day the weather report is calling for rain. We could see an inch of snow in the early AM covering the fresh groom but I think the best time to ski will be a dawn patrol as the weather looks to deteriorate by the afternoon. I'm expecting that with this weather the heavy snow loads in the trees is going to start falling so watch for sluffing snow, it'll probably make a mess of the classic track lines. All this said let's hope for less rain and cooler temps returning soon. Also, with the wet warm weather, it's the Achilles heel of our groomer, so there's a real chance she'll stay parked in the garage. This warm wet weirness is what causes the dreaded tiller rut. Sorry for the not so cool update, but hey, it's been a heck of a run these past 6 weeks straight, it's been awesome conditions. Stay posted and as soon as the weather lets me I'll be back at it. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Catch ya later.
