We’re pleased to report that the official first day of winter brought 4” of fluffy snow overnight! With the fresh snow we were able to groom out the field this morning — the surface is thin but skis great. Colder temperatures through this weekend combined with new snow has also made for a buttery soft corduroy to top off the firm base on the stadium and first loop. The tracks set on first loop and stadium are nice and grippy as well. 

It’s going to be a beautiful chilly day here at rikert. At 7:00 am we still have light snowfall, but the haze is starting to clear. Come on up and play! Happy winter solstice everyone!
