Good morning!  Brad and Isaac took the snowcats out last night and did a groom up to biathlon. Everything turned out great. Get out there before the rain and warmer weather softens things up

Nakkertrak groomed. We pushed out some snow to maintain the loops through the stadium. Tracksetting is good overall but shallow in a few spots. Skate lane conditions are great. 

Happy Spring Skiing! Banff Trail to Jct. 9, Banff Loop and Olympic have all had a complete reset and are holding up well. Albertville, Lillehammer, Banff Trail Jc 9-16 have had a skate reset, but there are pools of water and dirt patches showing up (particularly on the latter)...

Skiing is recommended on freshly groomed trails. Trails which were not groomed might be icy in the morning. Due to city's annual spring maintenance of copper haul rd., Mt. McIntyre Ascent, Fraser Loop and Skyline trail will be not groomed this season anymore. Day...

Conditions can be marginal even on maintained trails. Promenade Champlain has been maintained between Mica and Mont King parkway and promenade Gatineau has been maintained between P9 and Pink Lake lookout.

Soft conditions made grooming unfavorable. Trails very skiable, equipment simply to heavy.

Side X side tracks lower valley entered off bear to squirrel then wolf trail up hill to wolf lower trail entry.  These tracks damaged the trail requiring repairs to top of base.  Additional tracks off deer onto upper wolf but not too damaging.

We received 10 to 15 cms of new snow over the past weekend so all trails got groomed today. The thin and slightly icy spots are covered with the newly packed snow. Don't wait to get out as the sun will really start to affect it mining towards the end of the week and the skiing...

Current trail conditions:  lots of skiers out!  And I think I know why because the sun is brilliant, we still have snow and everyone is looking at the weather forecast.  Get it in now because it is likely gone next week.

Well, all good things eventually come to an end... This season was amazing! Thanks to everyone who donated money to the BWT, the volunteers can keep bringing this incredible community-led multi-use trail system to you all.

Crew was on the trails today packing the recent snow. No tracks set at this time as sticks and leaves were coming to the surface. Still need a little more snow in the treed areas.

Went for a ski at 10:30 today and the conditions were still quite good. Some south facing parts of the trail had seen some melting, the rest still had fresh snow. Tracks good for classic and skating.

Ski trails are closed for the season. You can still bike and hike on the trails this week. All trails will close on Sunday, March 30 to allow time to dry out for spring activities!

Groomed today between 3 and 5 pm. All skate trails groomed.  Classic set on Main Road, Hardwood, Fallows, Hoggs Bay and Ash Hill. 

Conditions are poor on our last remaining loop (Smeltzer) so all trails at the Broadmoor are now officially closed till we get a significant amount of snow.  We still have enough base to reopen, but we would need a large amount to justify opening this late in the season. ...
