There's something in the atmosphere: an early morning rainbow, skiers racing to snag first tracks, single digits, and if you can believe it… even more snowfall. It's a great post race calm before we host another race. Tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday the 16th from 3 - 5pm will be the MUHS Solstice Sprint.

The snow on the Race Loop is still sweet; it’s firmer than the rest of our groomed terrain, but no ice in sight. The fields are a bit softer; perfect for a monday mosey. The natural trails up higher – Frost, Upson’s Figure 8, Gilmore – were rolled over the weekend, and got a light layer of new snow overnight. This should be on your mind.
