Nordic Pulse

Good morning, friends.  Thanks for all your comments about reading the snow report, and it's been so nice to meet some of you in person this week!  Jump on the Nordic Pulse to watch Clark in the Piston Bully and Sean on the sled grooming all the trails for you!  So fun to guess which way they’ll go at each intersection. 

So ya, expect some incredible skiing today under cloudy skies.  Libby Trace for the trail of the day, but you can’t stop there.  Practice your downhill lefts and cruise Great Grumpy into Split Rock.  If you like speed, maybe set up a spotter, as this is one of the fastest transitions on the system.  While you’re cruising around today, think about the planning and design of these trails.  This was over 30 years ago, and they were meant to flow like a roller coaster at StoryLand.  I’d say we nailed it.  

Speaking of planning, what’s for lunch?  I’m always thinking two meals ahead.  Thats just how I roll (and probably why I’m building some rolls in the mid section…).  Here’s an offer for you today:  when you purchase your trail pass, ask for a $10 certificate towards The Notch Grille at the Glen House Hotel.  Now we’re talking, huh?  Eat to ski, ski to EAT!

Today is the last day for a bit to rent Fatbikes (they just don’t handle fresh snow well and we have a storm dropping tonight), hopefully getting us to 80 inches total for the season!
