Greetings Nordic Skiers of Northwest Montana. As you may have seen, the weather outside has been frightful and pushing rain, not snow. We have snow on the ground, but too much moisture in it with too warm of temps to groom at the moment, so we will be postponing our official opening for another week until the temps drop for more favorable conditions. Stay tuned, as we may try to open later in the week prior to next weekend... you never know. In the meantime, stop on by, pick up some xmas gifts at Dog Creek, enjoy some food and drink and you can still come out and ski, we just won't have any groomed trails and you may get your boots wet in the backcountry.
