Nordic Pulse

The air mass currently sitting on top of us feels far more tropical than arctic--downright steamy, one might say. With rain Saturday & more forecast for Sunday, we're keeping the cat off the trails. While using a PistenBully to groom dirt has been done before (if you haven't seen it, watch this), we prefer to keep ours clean. The cats are currently parked on a tiny island of snow, unable to access the trails without crossing mud & running water. 

This'll be the last of the grooming until we see significant new snow, of course. While there's still snow enough to tour around the area, I'd recommend heading to higher elevations up the Everitt if you're in the mood for snow.
