It's - 1 and a bit windy.

It's a mixed bag out here! If you've ever spent a spring around stake lake, you know what it's like. The lake loop is thin and hard packed in a lot of places. The higher elevation blue trails are still quite nice for both classic and skate, it's just getting out to them. The trails are all a bit firm, with some ice in the places that get alot of sun or drip off the trees. Overall, 5.5/10, still not awful by any means, but maybe not the best day to be brand new at xc.

The kids programs run today, expect long line ups at the ticketbooth between 9:30-10:30.

We shall set up some grooming for our event for tomorrow!

The snowshoe trails are all in lovely shape if you're just looking to get out today :)
