Trails and Grooming Update

Good Morning,

As of 5:45am the temperature is +2c. It will  be cloudy today, with a high of +2c. Precipitation today could come as snow or rain. 

Apex is groomed, and included Night Loop, Night Creek, Cottonwood/Railgrade to the gate, Apex loop and Stadium. 
Clearwater and loops is just being groomed at the moment. Busk West, Euphrates and Camp Busk will be groomed following Clearwater. 

With the thawing in the day and freezing again at night, there can be some icy conditions. This can be a factor anywhere but is primarily an issue leading up to the ramp at Apex, on the ramp and around the  area between the kiosk and the warming hut. I have been sanding, but it is hard to catch every spot. Just be careful entering this area. The hill at Apex entering the ski area also may become slippery. A good practice at this time might be to park at Busk and ski to the Apex area.

Parking lots are very icy we are getting them sanded but it may take a little while until the contractor gets around to it!
