Warm temperatures and lack of snow will be keeping us from grooming out on our natural surface trails until more snow comes unfortunately. There is still some good skiing to be had north of OO, with good stretches of snow on the classic trail near fire tower and Timber Trail, and stretches of the skate trail at the powerlines and around Boedecker. Classic tracks are mostly unusable or not set on natural surface trails due to debris and low snow depth. Currently, the snowmaking loops at Mount Telemark Village and the immediately surrounding natural snow loops are providing the best conditions, with reports of good snow on the old Korte trail, Roller Coaster, Nelson, and the old classic trail to the powerlines. There is another chance of snow this Saturday and next Thursday that we hope will bring some needed refresh to the base.
