**Friday 7am update: We are going to try and get a skiff of grooming for you today! It won't last long, and the cautionary advice below still applies, but we have some good snow for now! We better show Mother Nature that we appreciate it, even if a bit late.**

As of midday today, the entire Crosscut trail system was bare — no snow coverage anywhere on the trail network. We've had rain and sleet throughout the day, with heavy wet snow moving in this evening. Season pass holders may ski if they wish, but please keep the following in mind before heading out:

• No support services are available, including incident response and emergency evacuation. Skiing is entirely at each pass holder's own risk.
• Conditions are unpredictable. Heavy, wet snow on bare ground is tricky. Expect uneven coverage, debris, and variable surfaces. Ski conservatively and stay in control at all times.
• Rock skis strongly recommended. Snow is falling on bare ground, and rocks, roots, sticks, and other hazards lurk just beneath the surface. Treat this like a first snowfall in October situation.
• With temperatures forecast to reach 40°F on Friday and 50°F on Saturday, any snow accumulation will likely be short-lived. We do not plan to groom.
• Please be aware that there may be people walking on the trails.
• Dogs are allowed.
