Sun is up and the track looks beautiful. Reset skate track on campground, Yeti, and Yeti cutoff. Left classic track alone because I doubted I could improve it. Track is firm, fast and at 9:20am completely untracked.
USFS regulation at Mike Harris / Southern Valley Trails is NO DOGS winthin 200 yards of the Trailhead parking area and on groomed trails Dec1 - Apr 15.
Nordic Youth Festival will take place on Yeti's loop at Southern Valley Trails. Campground and Centennial Pathway will be used as warmup areas. Due to the event Yeti's loop will be Closed to public Saturday, March 1st 8am to 4pm and Sunday, March 2nd 8am to 2pm. Please consider other options for your recreational opportunities.
