February 4th Update:  The lack of snow and recent warm temperatures have left us with a very “dense” snow base. Warm conditions during the day and overnight cooling are leaving us with highly variable ski conditions. Users can expect fast, icy conditions in the mornings and softer conditions in the afternoons as it warms up.

Where grooming was able to happen, conditions are good, but other areas may be quite icy – use caution. Check the Nordic Pulse map below for recent grooming (mostly on out machine-made snow trails). Banff Trail, Banff Loop, and pieces of Olympic and Meadowview were groomed last night for both classic and skate. Tracks are getting very thin in places on natural trails; upper trails such as Meadowview will hold better than lower trails such as Bow. Grooming on natural snow trails has been limited to preserve snow on the thin base.

Parking lots, sidewalks, winter disc golf , and the Legacy Trail (walking) are particularly icy—please use caution.
