December 26th Grooming Report

And So It Begins!

After a bit of a disappointing snow period, things are changing today at Trail Creek.  The snow began to fall about the time grooming began this morning.  As of report time, totals are approaching 3-4 inches for the day so far.  The image below show that we’ve been lagging behind the average precipitation totals at our local snow reporting station Philips Bench, however the forecast has now moved into the winter storm warning category for the next few days with lots of 100% chances of snow; it looks like we’ll be doing a lot of catching up in the near future.

Today’s grooming began with several laps in the close field by the Husky this morning.
At that time the snow was still a little thin after recent rain events for the Husky to proceed into the woods so the Ginzu finished the day with multiple passes on pretty much every trail in the woods.

As of report time it is still extremely beautiful at Trail Creek and snowing hard.

Groomer’s choice for today is a snowy cruise through the woods.
