Grooming completed at 11:30. That was a true storm groom. It kept the trails open and allowed us to move some snow around to further level problem areas.
Extra classic tracks set as per the note from yesterday.
Grooming Plan for Tuesday Feb 4th. We will groom with the cat from 6-10am.
There will be separate areas for classic and skate skiers.
Since snow is forecast throughout the day the skate lane will be covered very quickly. So instead of the usual skate lane and 1 classic track I am going to set 3 classic tracks side by side on Just Right, Polar Express, Camas and half of Ursa. This will assist the training progam of McCall Nordic youth teams who are competing at West Yellowstone this coming weekend. Or come take a more leisurely classic ski with a friend and enjoy a chat side by side for a change!
If you want to skate please avoid the 3 classic track trails. Take Flying Squirrel out from the warming hut and you can access Caitlins and Moonridge, then out to Lyles and Scotts and Big Bear.
