Hello winter snow sport enthusiasts! We're excited to begin working on county-wide grooming operations for the 2024-2025 winter season. With the significant snowfall over Thanksgiving week, we're feeling confident about having the right conditions to begin consistent grooming operations by mid to late December at several of our winter recreation amenities. Crews are beginning to go out across the county for preliminary laps with a roller implement to help compact the snow and create a good foundational base that protects infrastructure that lies beneath (asphalt, golfing greens, etc.) Many of you have already reached out with your excitement, and we truly appreciate your patience while we set up our trails for a successful winter. Please be respectful of all trail closures as there are many at this early time of the season.
