December 26: Another bit of new snow yesterday afternoon!  Yesterday we groomed the Owl Creek Trail from Snowmass to the Main Buttermilk Marolt Loop 40.  Last night we groomed the High School Loop 30, Moore Loop 20, Snowmass Golf Course Loop 60 and all of the connectors on those loops, as well as Lab Lane.  First thing this morning we are grooming the Aspen Golf Course Loop 10 and Teaching Loop 00 and all the connectors.  Tonight we will be grooming the new snow in on the Owl Creek trail and doing a pass on the upper Rio Grande Trail. The warm temps have melted out the Rio Grande Trail across from Aspen Sanitation and it is very muddy for several hundred meters.  It is still too thin to  lay any classic tracks mid valley, though the skating at Grange Ranch is still good.  Conditions are still quite firm, be aware of inconsistent coverage and unmarked obstacles. Keep up the new snow!
