The Les Saisies Nordic ski area is renowned for being one of the largest Nordic ski areas in France.

In 1992, the resort hosted the cross-country skiing and biathlon events at the Albertville Winter Olympics, contributing to its reputation as a leading Nordic ski destination. The 120 km ski area has been awarded the Site d’excellence 4 sapins label by Nordic France.

Thanks to its high altitude, the Les Saisies Nordic ski area is one of the best snow-covered in the Alps. Skiing takes place here every year from mid-November (thanks to snowfarming) to the end of April.
