Ski Trail Update

This weekend’s weather wreaked havoc on the ski trail system. Extremely high winds scattered debris across many sections of the trails, while the warm temperatures melted large portions of the remaining snowpack (refer to images).

As a result, and taking into account operational capacity, only Smeltzer Loop and the Driving Range portion of Leading Edge Loop will remain open in Fair condition. All other trails are now closed for the season and will no longer be groomed or maintained.

Signage has been placed at various access points throughout the system indicating trail closures. These closed sections are currently in very poor condition, with icy areas and significant debris present. Access or use of these sections is not recommended, and anyone choosing to do so does so at their own risk.

Additionally, access through the tree line between Hole 2 and Hole 3 is currently blocked due to a fallen tree (refer to image).

Please refrain from using any of the closed sections in any capacity.

This will likely be our final week of cross-country ski trail use as we move closer to mid-March and begin shifting operational focus toward preparations for the upcoming golf season.

We hope you enjoyed the ski season. Although this winter presented its share of challenges, we truly enjoyed being able to provide this service.
